When you start your work at home business, you will be visiting many websites. Most likely you will sign up for some newsletters, articles, or whatever and you will begin to receive various offers. Understand one thing: There is NO Free Lunch on the Internet !!! Or anywhere else !!! Many of these offers will sound very good....they are carefully written sales pages for just that reason. * "Let us get 10,000 hits to your website" and on...and on...and on.... Be very wary of joining this type of program, especially when you are a new affiliate. They can drain your available time and resources. Worse, they can fool you into thinking you are "doing something", and lead to disappointment when the results don't live up to the hype. As you begin to see real success with your internet business you may well want to add other items or programs to your business to create more streams of income. In fact, that will be a section of this site before long...with recommended programs and tools that can really help you. When you are starting out, you need to FOCUS on one program. . Think of your work as a funnel, not a loudspeaker. You will use various methods to bring people to your websites products. For one hundred "hits" that you attract, only a few will have a real interest in your business. So you will concentrate on those few people. This is the funnel. For this, you use targeted advertising, and a keyword rich website...your goal is to attract those who are looking for what YOU are offering. A loudspeaker just broadcasts information and it falls where it may. Using this approach in network marketing will not work. There is no control or targeting of the information you are distributing. When you do get results, you don't know which of your "broadcasts" was effective.
